  SENATOR  MILLER  called the  Resources Committee  meeting to                 
  order at 3:32  p.m. and announced  HJR 18 ESTABLISH  FISHING                 
  COMMUNITY AT ADAK to be up for consideration.                                
                                                                               
  REPRESENTATIVE MOSES, sponsor  of HJR  18, said  due to  the                 
  large cutback  in the Naval  Reserve in Adak  the facilities                 
  could be utilized by commercial fisheries.

  SENATOR LEMAN  asked what  the term  "model fishery"  meant.                 
  REPRESENTATIVE MOSES  said it  means that  Adak  would be  a                 
  model fishing center  since everything is in  place - docks,                 
  infrastructure, etc.                                                         
  SENATOR MILLER announced HJR 18 ESTABLISH  FISHING COMMUNITY                 
  AT ADAK to be up for consideration again.                                    
                                                                               
  SENATOR PEARCE moved to pass HJR  18 from committee with the                 
  appropriate  fiscal  note  with individual  recommendations.                 
  There were no objections and it was so ordered.
